With data starting in 2017, the International Severe Asthma Registry (ISAR) is the first global registry for severe asthma, created as a joint initiative where national registries retain ownership of their data while sharing it with ISAR for ethically approved research. By collecting anonymized, standardized patient-level data from around the world, ISAR provides a unique, longitudinal and real-life resource to study severe asthma. Supported by expert collaboration and ethical governance, ISAR aims to generate new knowledge and research opportunities in the severe asthma disease area.
