The Texas Cancer Registry collection dates back to 1995 and is one of the largest cancer registries in the United States. Approximately 250,000 reports of cancer are received annually from over 500 hospitals, cancer treatment centers, ambulatory surgery centers, and pathology laboratories located throughout the state. The Clalit Health Services (Clalit) computerized database is a combination of administrative and electronic medical records across an entire lifetime for more than half the population of Israel. Started in 1998, the database is complete for over 5 years and partial for over 2 decades.
