Download our latest poster “Data Elements in Inpatient Databases to Enhance Safety & Health Outcomes Research,” which was presented at ISPE’s 29th International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology & Therapeutic Risk Management in Montreal, Canada on August 27, 2013. The poster describes specific data elements found in inpatient databases (DBs) and compares them with data fields in outpatient DBs. One major finding was that inpatient longitudinal DBs and registries tend to capture daily medical events.
